SPECIAL PACKAGE I
Bred Dams With Future Herdsire Candidates Package Price: ASK!!!
| Aneesah6/23/05 * Beige/Light Fawn 30010571 * $12,000 Sire: Atico
Dam: Shepac's Aurora (Tell Hot Shot Daughter)
Service Sire: 5Peruvian Chaccu 9063
Due Date: August 18th, 2008
3 In 1 Package Aneesah bred to Chaccu PLUS her stunning fawn Signature son before weaning: $18,000
|
With an AFD of slightly above 15 micron on her first histogram, we know that Aneesah's strength, lies in her fineness. However, we also know a bit about her heritage and that information, along with her dark toes and her dark pigmentation rallied us to make the decision to breed her to Signature. Signature is a ¾ Accoyo, gray, Victor son from one of our finest Legacy daughters. Thus far we are thrilled with his cria, and we were not let down with this young male. The only way to make this better is to breed her to the great Chaccu. So that is what we did!
| Crescent Moon's Sunshine6/24/05 * Beige * 1223330 * $16,000 Sire: Crescent Moon's Rayo del Sol
Dam: Crescent Moon's Lady Luck (Mr. Roosevelt daughter)
Bred to: Crescent Moon's Signature
Due: May 27th, 2008
3 In 1 Package Sunshine bred to Signature PLUS her gray Silver Charm son before weaning: $30,000
|
One of the many great things about watching pedigrees develop over the years is the insight we get into any particular alpaca's background. Sunshine is a perfect example of this. She herself is a lovely beige female. Her mother is a lovely beige female, whose mother is black and whose sire is gray. On the sire's side, you have Rayo del Sol, a gray whose sire (Danko) is gray. So how did we get to beige with all of that black and gray? Alpaca Color Genetics! All of that said, we felt very compelled to pursue that gray this year again and we scored. We bred Sunshine to the great Silver Charm and produced a magnificent silver gray son. We will be watching him closely as he combines the genetics of some of the greatest gray males to ever reproduce in North America. Names like The Silversmith, Silver Charm, Danko, Mr. Roosevelt and, of course, Rayo del Sol. Now Sunshine is bred to Signature, our ¾ Accoyo, gray, Accoyo Victor son. At this writing, Signature has three offspring on the ground, two of them are gray and one is fawn.
SPECIAL PACKAGE II Females Bred to The Legends Package Price: $63,000
| Jazzy is a product of one of our Super Dams.... Jasmine. Jas has been a monstrous producer for us. Her first cria is V.I.P. who is a breeder here. The next four cria have been females and we have been very well pleased with each. Jazzy is full Peruvian and ¾ Accoyo and 100% quality. Here is an outstanding white female, with an equally outstanding breeding.
|
| Mandy is a stout and sturdy gal who really puts out the cria. Her first baby for us, Mandolina (a Legacy Daughter), sold at The Parade of Champions Sale in 2006 to Richard and Lisa Cruanas at La Finca Alpacas for $39,000. If you don't remember Mandolina, we referred to her as "Eye Candy" in her write up. An absolutely stunning female! Her next cria, a very handsome Kryptonite son, who would have been a quality show male in many breeding programs.
|
At this writing she is bred to the Legendary Legacy again. We are looking for a little Deja Vu here and I think we`ll get it. Mandy is a great producer, a female of significant quality and an alpaca of significant pedigree. Now with this breeding, her cria will be a continuation of the above.
| Heaping mounds of luminent white fleece! That is what you'll see lying on the back of beautiful Bette. Possessing very good density, extraordinary staple length and well defined architecture, she squares off very nicely with her counterpart Chaccu. But here is a little more you should know. Her sire is fawn, her grand-dam is fawn, and Chaccu is fawn. Guess what we are hoping to produce along with beautiful fleece?

Sire: 4Peruvian Legacy 6016
Dam: San Pablo's Blue Ribbon
Bred To: Kirwin
Due: May 21st, 2008 A brown Legacy daughter, from a black dam and bred to
Kirwin. Isn't this what it is all about? We don't need to say a whole lot
here, other than this is our breeding program. Good stuff and if you breed
for quality alpacas, then you should be on board. |
| Crescent Moon's Moonglow8/15/05 * Dark Fawn * 1223668 * $30,000
Sire: 4Peruvian Legacy 6016
Dam: Crescent Moon's Moonbeam
Bred to: Kirwin
Due: August 1st, 2008
Moonglow's heritage holds a very special place in our hearts. Not just from the paternal side, but more precisely from the maternal side. Moonglow's grand-dam (now deceased) was Cressie A.K.A. Crescent Moon. Her great grand-dam (now deceased) was LaMaroma, dam of Juliet, Cressie, and Legacy de Oro to name a few... and grand-dam of 8 time Champion, Crescent Moon's Romeo and Moonbeam. |
I think you see where we are going here. Now factor in some Legacy and you have Moonglow. Breed Moonglow to 13 time Champion/Reserve Champion Kirwin and if you didn't before, you
must like where we are going now.
SPECIAL PACKAGE IV Still Got It! Package Price: $24,000
| Chachata Rose 1-1-94 * White * 835407 * $10,000 Sire: Import * Dam: Import
Bred To: Crescent Moon's Lunar Breeze
Due: July 27th, 2008 C. Rose is a stately gal, whose production record is solid excellence. Give her a great breeding and she will give you a great cria. No mystery there, when you consider the pairing of two quality alpacas you frequently will not be disappointed. C. Rose has just such a pairing this year. Crescent Moon's Lunar Breeze is a fantastic alpaca, and without a doubt one of the best we have ever produced here. From this breeding we expect a cria with a beautiful head, very good fineness, superior density and beautiful fleece character. I'd say these are all very good traits, indeed!
|
| Cartagena Chapoco1-1-94 * White * 171192 * $10,000 Sire: Import * Dam: Import
Bred To: Peruvian Francisco
Due: July 15th, 2008 Shoosh! Be Quiet, don't let Debbie know that Cartagena is available. This is a tough one to sell. She is a ranch favorite and a grand ol' producer. We have had some awesome babies from Cartagena. Illumination, a Legacy daughter who sold in the Parade of Champions, was a consistent ribbon winner and took a third at The Futurity in the Juvenile Female White Class.
|
Miss Bangles (shown with her '07 cria), is her black Silver Charm daughter, and a breeder here. And, of course, her Esmeralda was the Color Champion Gray Female who sold at the 2001 AOBA National Auction for $39,000. We've bred Cartagena to the Champion, Francisco. It is a great breeding to a Great Female.
| Charro de Chapoco (A.K.A. Oreo)11-3-96 * Dark Brown/Bay Black * 187003 * $10,000 Sire: Galeno - Challipina Dam: Carmen - Chapoco Bred To: Mr Roosevelt Due: TBA Considering the quality of Oreo's production over the years, and

SPECIAL PACKAGE V Back In Black Package Price: ASK!!!
| San Pablo's Blue Ribbon1/1/95 * True Black * 167542 * $10,000
Sire: Chilean * Dam: Chilean
Bred to: Lionheart's Connagher
Due: February 17th, 2008 "Blue", as we affectionately call her, is "True Blue" to her
"art".... the production of beautiful cria. To my eye, she and Chapoco are very similar alpacas for us. On the one hand, why sell them, on the other hand with all of their genetics in our herd, why keep them? The truth is we need to move some alpacas so we are offering both. Blue is bred to Connagher for a dark offspring with very fine fleece. I think we will get that and the way that Connagher and Blue produce, probably more! |
| What can I say, other than I never thought I would see the
day where we listed Chapoco for sale. With great reservation we do so now.
She has been a magnificent producer, who we have had since Day 1. We have
no less than 4 daughters of hers in the herd and have sold some of her sons
as breeding males and we've done so proudly. Her record of production
cannot be challenged for it's excellence. This year she is bred to Elite. The last time we sold an Elite Breeding was a donation breeding for the Quechua Benefit. That breeding sold for $13,000. What a kid this may be! While Elite needs no introduction, if you are unfamiliar with him please visit the Crescent Moon Herdsire page. Chapoco Pride x Elite.... That is some
good stuff! |
