When we were selecting Valentino and Afterglow together, we could visualize the beauty of that offspring. Behold Athena, pretty much the picture that we had in our minds. Proud, erect and regal with a lovely head and extreme coverage she is everything that we hoped for. When you look at Athena`s parents the reason for this is easily understood. Valentino`s greatness is well noted but you may not be as familiar with Afterglow`s. She is a Legacy daughter who never finished worse than a blue ribbon and she has already left a lasting impression on our breeding program, starting with two sons who remain here as herdsires, Crescent Moon`s Signature and Crescent Moon`s Nitro. Athena`s excellence is in the same vain as her two brothers. Very good brightness and fineness, compliment her high frequency fleece and her beauty. When selecting a breeding, we would pursue quality in color with her. Mr. Roosevelt, Francisco, Kryptonite or Adonnis all would be at the top of our list.
