 | We have a busy schedule at Crescent Moon Ranch. Our alpacas travel around the U.S. competing in various alpaca shows. Joe, Jerry, Scott and Debbie will be in attendance. We would love to have you stop by our booth and say hello if we're in your area. If you need directions on how to get to any of the events, drop us an email and we'll help you figure out just where the event is taking place. The 9th Annual Parade of Champions Auction was the largest infusion of champion-quality genetics yet released into the North American alpaca industry. We didn't put anything in this sale unless we believed it was of show championship quality!

So why should you consider Emma? Well, first of all her excellence is undeniable. One look at her beautifully lustrous crimpy fleece will assure you of that. Next, you should know that her two full siblings, Crescent Moon's Private Reserve II and Crescent Moon's Shaken Not Stirred, are very well decorated males with extraordinary show careers. Lastly, you get to breed her to your choice of one of the Crescent Moon Studs. You should consider Legacy, Lunar Breeze, Valentino, Kirwin, Mr Roosevelt, Adonnis, Francisco, Copenhagen, Kryptonite, or Rayo del Sol. See. That is why you should consider, Emma!

Rosita is a cutie and a beauty, not to mention a very quality female. In her class at MAPACA this year, Judge Kevin O'Leary called her a "Clear Cut Winner In The Class". Her show record, implies that other judges agree. With very significant coverage and outstanding bone capacity, squaring up a beautiful frame, Rosita's body is warmed by a wonderfully soft fleece, which is very fine snd maintains lustrous and uniformed fleece character. So with all of her many attributes firmly in place, the next step is how should she be bred? We like several options, not the least of which would be Rayo del Sol, Kryptonite, Touchet, Francisco, Kirwin, Valentino, or Copenhagen. Are you prepared to make that decision?

| Thanks & Congratulations to Bob Fish, Flying Pony Alpacas, LLC!
Rayo paired with Geneva is an undeniably successful union. This pairing has produced two other full siblings sold in this "Sale of Excellence", Crescent Moon's Rosalee and Crescent Moon's Steam. Relanpago, like his siblings before him, is a multi blue ribbon winner and a jewel. His style is gorgeous, with exceptional coverage, sizeable bones, an ideal frame, and a stylish head. His fleece is very fine and very dense, while expressing a very bright high frequency crimp. The color of his fleece is almost pink and to our knowledge exhibits no spots. We get phone calls all year round for Rayo sons. If you've ever considered such a purchase, or haven't until now, here is one of Rayo's best!

Crescent Moon's Accoyo Bedazzled * Lot # 19 Thanks & Congratulations to Nancy Wright, Always Accoyo, LLC!
|
Country of Origin: U.S.A
Maiden Female
White * D.O.B. 6-20-06 * ARI# 30038683
Sire: 4Peruvian Legacy 6016 Dam: MFI Peruvian Accoyo Dazzler
WOW
Got Fleece? If you don't, Accoyo Bedazzled will take care of that immediately. Combining excellent density with extraordinary staple length, Accoyo Bedazzled has two components for an outstanding fleece. However, we are not done yet! To compliment that abundant fleece, Bedazzled is exhibiting very good fineness and very consistent, high frequency crimp with Legacy's blinding brightness. To our eye, this pairing makes for an ideal fleece to pair with Accoyo Elite. Of course you may select whomever you like from our Honeymoon Lane, but for us this is a "No Brainer". We'd go with Elite, for a Full Accoyo offspring of Excellence.

Look how beautiful The Black Alpaca Has Become... Look at Augustus! Presenting extreme coverage and a beautiful head, Augustus is quick to please in other areas as well. His fleece is uniformly fine, with very good density and displays a wonderfully soft handle throughout. When you open up his fleece, you will be very impressed with the luminescent properties exhibited there, along with his dramatic and consistent fleece character across the blanket and from tip to tip. Augustus is a champion in both 50/50 and 60/40 shows. What more needs to be said? We get calls for quality black males all of the time. And for those of you unable to make it, you can phone in! Suffice it to say, one of Rayo's best daughters and she sells with a breeding to Adonnis.

Marisol is a fawn, Full Accoyo, Legacy daughter, who will melt your heart. With exceptional beauty and laid back demeanor, she presents a gorgeous fleece, which is true to her heritage of excellence. We'd love her bred to Elite when she comes of age. However, we also like the idea that her new owner will be able to take her to Fawn Full Accoyo males and improve the odds of producing the elusive and highly sought after Fawn Full Accoyo!

Vahevala is a product of the pairing between Valentino and Marshmellow Fluff. It is a pairing designed in alpaca heaven! Vienna, Vahevala's full sister, was sold at this sale last year and has gone on to win multiple First and Second place ribbons; and a Championship in the Southern Select Fleece Show. It is our understanding that Vienna has also been skin biopsied to be in the top 5% of alpacas for follicular density. We loved Vienna and we feel the same about Vahevala. Not only is she a beauty, but she carries a luxurious fleece. You'll have a tough decision on this breeding. You can take her light with Legacy, Elite, Shiftin Gears, Chaccu, or Lunar Breeze (our choice). Or, you can breed her dark with options like Kryptonite, Kirwin, Adonnis, Francisco, Black N' Gold, or Mr Roosevelt. Holy Handlebars, Life is Good!

This 3 in 1 Package is an exciting opportunity for the breeder with "Colorful Intentions". Sombra is a delightful daughter of the great, Crescent Moon's Rayo del Sol; now co-owned with Virginia Alpaca Farm & Breeding Co. Sombra herself, is a striking coal black female with a typey and stylish head, very correct proportions and a bright, soft, and very high frequency fleece. As you can see, she is late pregnant... very late pregnant, to Achenar, our Champion, full Peruvian, black male. So we will take her back and rebreed her for you. Your options are amazing. Adonnis, Kryptonite, Mr Roosevelt, and Francisco start the list. The next owner of Sombra is lucky and very smart indeed.

White * D.O.B. 7-10-06 * ARI# 30038235
Sire: 4Peruvian Legacy 6016 Dam: Victor's Rosebud (Accoyo Victor Daughter)
Don't ask us why Rosa Blanca wasn't shown this year, an oversight on our part, without a doubt. That is OK however, because her excellence is easily seen by the majesty which is Rosa Blanca. Royalty runs through her blood and it is readily evident. Perfect conformation, compliments huge bone structure, classic beauty and striking presence. Dig into her fleece and the wonderful journey continues with complete fulfillment. Breed her to your choice of Crescent Moon Studs. We like Accoyo Elite, Shiftin Gears, Chaccu, or El Biento. Someday we will be able to keep one of Zinfindalia's babies! The excellence produced by her every year, is once again your opportunity this year, in the alpaca known as Kyrah. Kyrah is a lovely, well grown girl, with lustrous high frequency staple; which is long and thick, and maintains an exquisite handle. That softness is a product of her very uniformed fleece as portrayed in her CV of 16.7. That very low CV is no mistake. Her maternal brother Semper Fidelis, who we sold at last year's Parade of Champions, maintained a coefficient of variation of 13 into his 2ned fleece. So how would you breed her? What about Adonnis, Kirwin, Francisco, Shiftin Gears, Chaccu, or Elite?

Country of Origin: U.S.A
Maiden Female
True Black * D.O.B. 8-28-06 * ARI# 30844858
Sire: Mr Roosevelt Dam: Snowmass Halo
Grace is the product of very prominent and very quality genetics. Halo, Grace's dam, is a Snowmass Casanova daughter. Casanova and Mr Roosevelt (Grace's sire) are each known for the outstanding fineness they produce in their cria. It looks like Grace lives up to the legend! Look at the average fiber diameter represented in her first histogram! Black alpacas with this kind of fineness are rare indeed. Your breeding options with Grace are incredible. For us, Kirwin, Valentino, Kryptonite, Francisco, Rayo del Sol, Copenhagen, and Black N' Gold are easy choices. But breed her to Elite or Legacy if you like, it is your call!

What a beautiful alpaca Tinkerbelle is! With solid bone structure,
notable fleece coverage and a lovely head, she portrays excellence in her
being. Get into her fleece and you will find a rich and golden fawn
coloring, which is satin like soft and significantly abundant. This is no
surprise, her grandsire, El Reino (AKA-Tino) is an award winning Hemingway
son owned by Alpacas of Maple Lane. The combination of Legacy and Tino was
bound to produce excellence and it did.Your breeding options here are outstanding. While considering Tinkerbelle please also consider Shiftin Gears, Elite, Elevation, Connagher, or Vaquero; for her first breeding. |
Thanks & Congratulations to Jennifer Jonak, Silver Spoon Alpacas, LLC!

Ashley is a wonderful blend of outstanding genetics. Combining such great names on her pedigree as Rayo del Sol, Danko, and Legacy; she is well positioned to be an incredible producer. Now that we have discussed her genotype, take a look at Ashley herself. Classic beauty, combined with an inquisitive nature, her fleece is dense with consistent crimp development throughout. Now as a breeder you will have options with Ashley. She has two grandparents who are grey, as is her sire. She also has the Accoyo influence of Legacy. It's a tough call for her first breeding, but we like either Mr Roosevelt, Adonnis, Black N' Gold, Francisco, or Achenar.
