Rockney hails from one of our finest white maternal lines. His grand dam Blanca is a Sollocota import and she is all about fineness, with a 22.6 micron fleece at 14 years of age. Rockney’s mom, Ice Princess isn`t far behind with her 7 year histogram registering an AFD of 20.3. To his credit Rockney has an AFD of 17.3. Looks like he is right where we would expect considering his heritage! We were able to get Rockney to one show this year and he lived up to the billing with a Reserve Championship in the White male class at the Southwest Regional Alpaca Show.
