Shoosh! Be Quiet, don't let Debbie know that Cartagena is available. This is a tough one to sell. She is a ranch favorite and a grand ol' producer. We have had some awesome babies from Cartagena. Illumination, a Legacy daughter who sold in the Parade of Champions, was a consistent ribbon winner and took a third at The Futurity in the Juvenile Female White Class.

       C. Rose is a stately gal, whose production record is solid excellence. Give her a great breeding and she will give you a great cria. No mystery there, when you consider the pairing of two quality alpacas you frequently will not be disappointed. C. Rose has just such a pairing this year. Crescent Moon's Lunar Breeze is a fantastic alpaca, and without a doubt one of the best we have ever produced here. From this breeding we expect a cria with a beautiful head, very good fineness, superior density and beautiful fleece character. I'd say these are all very good traits, indeed!

       Heaping mounds of luminent white fleece! That is what you'll see lying on the back of beautiful Bette. Possessing very good density, extraordinary staple length and well defined architecture, she squares off very nicely with her counterpart Chaccu. But here is a little more you should know. Her sire is fawn, her grand-dam is fawn, and Chaccu is fawn. Guess what we are hoping to produce along with beautiful fleece?

       Betty is a daughter of our deceased and beloved Camelot. He set the stage for Legacy here and we know and understand the significant contribution that he made to our program here at Crescent Moon Ranch. Betty has a very strong record of production quality, predominantly females who themselves are usually light fawn to white. Then again that is the way we have always bred her. However her mother has produced very dark when bred that way, so this is an option going forward.

       Don't you just love looking at a beautiful white fleece? Well take a look at Fortula's. Excessive staple length combines with high amplitude crimp and very good fineness. Combine that with a lovely style and frame and you have a quality alpaca. No mistake here... she comes from very good stock. Her veins are full of the blood of some of the greatest Accoyo males to ever breed in North America. Names like Caligula, Pachacuti, Chaparral and Juliaca dominate her pedigree. Good stock comes from good stock! There is one step to make that better, her breeding to Vaquero. Now you are really approaching perfection!

       Jazzy is a product of one of our Super Dams.... Jasmine. Jas has been a monstrous producer for us. Her first cria is V.I.P. who is a breeder here. The next four cria have been females and we have been very well pleased with each. Jazzy is full Peruvian and ¾ Accoyo and 100% quality. Here is an outstanding white female, with an equally outstanding breeding.

       Oh what a cutie Oklahoma is! Even as a cria, she charmed everyone. With a fleece staple length which approaches absurd, she has fleece on top of fleece! At this writing, she is bred to Legacy. How do you improve on an already fabulous female? I think we just did!

       Purity has an unbelievable fleece. If you were familiar with our program, you would say, "I figured as much". Her mother is a blue ribbon winner and Purity's Grand Dam is one of our absolute finest, a Sollocota import female named, Blanca. Purity is the last of four consecutive pairings between Ice Princess and Legacy. The first produced 8 time Champion and 2005 AOBA National Show Light Male Color Champion, Fiber Optic. The next time, Snow White, a champion in her own right, who was purchased by one of our Senior AOBA Judges. The third time, Trifecta who never got to show because of a skin problem which developed around his eyes, and lastly Purity. All of this just gives you insights into the quality which is Purity.

       Trista has an amazing fleece. That is all there is to it. Dense and fine with outstanding character and luminescent brightness, she has it all. She is a Legacy daughter and she is bred to Peruvian Chaccu. That is a quality female, with a championship quality pairing.

       Lily is a lovely white full Peruvian female. Big bones, outstanding presence, complete coverage and true elegance make her sensational breeding stock. Combine that with a fleece that incorporates fineness and good density and you are stepping into the WOW factor. She is bred to El Biento, one of our outstanding El Nino sons and OK, so now you have the WOW factor!

       Mandy is a stout and sturdy gal who really puts out the cria. Her first baby for us, Mandolina (a Legacy Daughter), sold at The Parade of Champions Sale in 2006 to Richard and Lisa Cruanas at La Finca Alpacas for $39,000. If you don't remember Mandolina, we referred to her as "Eye Candy" in her write up. An absolutely stunning female! Her next cria, a very handsome Kryptonite son, who would have been a quality show male in many breeding programs.

       Juniper is owned by Jerry Dunne who is one of the original partners in Crescent Moon Ranch. For financial and tax purposes he started his own ranch, but his product is 100% Crescent Moon. If you associate that with excellence then you'll see why Juniper is the quality female that she is. Now admittedly she was supposed to be a darker color than she is, but that is the crazy world of alpaca color genetics.

       We have offered M. Fluff for 3 years now and none of you have been takers. Considering she has been bred to Valentino all of those years and considering that her last two Valentino daughters, Vienna and Vahevala, have each sold for $28,000 and $29,000 respectively at the Parade of Champions, I am wondering why you haven't decided to pick her up? Well now you have some history to bank a decision on and it is all good. M. Fluff however, this time is bred to Valentino son and Legacy grandson, Copenhagen. Did this offering somehow just improve?

       Strong, robust and sturdy, Okly's Daisy is a captivating alpaca. She exhibits commanding presence with her great coverage and significant bone density. Her fleece has the qualities to produce champions and it has. We have bred her to Elevation to continue all the greatness that she is.

       We purchased the Tellier Herd for several reasons. Initially, Gold Standard wasn't one of them. Oh how things change when we human beings have information. Gold Standard's value has grown significantly for us. Her elegant and yet commanding prescience, combined with a couple of her observed annual shearings and we have come to know what a "Gold Mine" (pun intended) we have in her.

       Lareda hails from the Tellier group which we purchased in 2005. Her dam is a strong female of significant substance with a pretty fleece. Lareda herself carries on with the best components of her sire and dam. A long staple length, compliments good fineness and uniformed character and locking staples. She is growing nicely into a stately girl and this pairing with Lunar Breeze should make for a very high quality offspring. Lareda has a lifetime of reproduction in front of her. Get her now while she is starting off with an incredible breeding.

        B. Wish, as we call her, is a star. A female we have had for many years and a producer of excellence. When bred to color she produces color. Her track record is mostly females and she consistently produces each year. In 2007 she a lovely Touchet daughter, Crescent Moon's Tabatha. Her current breeding is all about fleece and style. We have paired B. Wish's beauty and fineness with Lunar Breeze's amazing and abundant 10x Champion fleece. This kid will be incredible!

       With heritage straight from the highlands of Peru, Alanna is living up to the hype. A striking gal with very dark pigment (even dark toes), she sports a stylish head and a high frequency fleece. We have bred her to Francisco for her 2009 cria to exploit the colorful excellence we are certain is in her background.

       Holy Mackerel! You should you see Maggie's light silver grey Adonnis son! How can we be surprised? Maggie is a Black N' Gold daughter, her dam is a Legacy daughter, her grand-dam is the dam of Crescent Moon's Touchet our multiple champion and 2004 A.O.B.A. National Show Reserve Grey Male Champion. As great as we think Adonnis is going to be, this isn't just all of his doing. Even as a cria Maggie was a knockout! Here is a chance to purchase a young and beautiful female with awesome pedigree, bred back to one of the best - the one and only Kirwin.

       Moonglow's heritage holds a very special place in our hearts. Not just from the paternal side, but more precisely from the maternal side. Moonglow's grand-dam (now deceased) was Cressie A.K.A. Crescent Moon. Her great grand-dam (now deceased) was LaMaroma, dam of Juliet, Cressie, and Legacy de Oro to name a few... and grand-dam of 8 time Champion, Crescent Moon's Romeo and Moonbeam.

       Natasha has a whole lot of great things going on in her pedigree and it is reflected in her. She sports names like Sinopsis Nocturna, Hemingway, Caligula, Presidio, Tacna, Oro on her certificate to name a few. Here's the most exciting part, Natasha is bred to 10-Time Champion/Reserve Champion, Copenhagen. This breeding crosses Hemingway, Escobar, Black N' Gold, Valentino, Danko, Mr Know It All, Legacy, and Copenhagen; and that is just from the male side of the equation. Now that's some good stuff!

       There are some pretty good ingredients rapped up in Solara's Peruvian luminescent and golden fleece. A little Accoyo, a dollop of Hemingway, a sprinkle of color, a couple teaspoons of fineness, a cup of density, a few shakes of fleece character, and a hand full of brightness. All of this adds up to one really nice girl. Now we are just going to try to improve on her one step further. We have bred her to Chaccu. Continued improvement? I like our chances!

       Aurora x Kirwin is absolutely tantalizing! Hot Shot, Aurora's sire, is a gray male now owned by Rancho Nuevo Comienzo in Central California. He is a magnificent specimen of a male alpaca. His genetics are rare and treasured. Here is one of his daughters bred to the great Kirwin. This is sweet!

       Bernie bangs out the babies! We made Bernie available last year with her female cria at side and those of you who passed on that offering missed a really good one. That cria alone was worth the selling price of Bernie and her baby. Oh well, hindsight is always 20/20. So here is your chance again. Bernie has her beautiful brown Valentino daughter, at side and is rebred to Connagher. How is that for tempting?

       The dam of a Black Male Champion at the National Show. The dam of a Reserve Brown Male Champion at the National Show. Bred to Accoyo Vaquero, who is known to produce a lot of color and beautiful crimpy fleeces. I think we've said enough.

       The ultrafine Connagher and the ever steady Bernie combined to produce a winner in Bernadette in 2006. That is a pretty common occurrence when considering the two participants. Bernadette is a lovely female with a beautiful fleece. As of this writing she is a maiden and we have exposed her Copenhagen. If she is not pregnant, you will select that breeding when she is ready to breed. Either way, it will be very good.

       A brown Legacy daughter, from a black dam and bred to Kirwin. Isn't this what it is all about? We don't need to say a whole lot here, other than this is our breeding program. Good stuff and if you breed for quality alpacas, then you should be on board.

       Harmony is a Blue Ribbon winning female who is bred to Connagher. This is an exciting match and will thrill those who know these lines!

       Wow, what an opportunity, especially if you breed for black and grey! May we present Rose Marie. A daughter of Black Ice (Maternal sister to Crescent Moon's Touchet, 5-time Champion and 2004 Reserve Grey Male Champion at the National Show), and a daughter of 2-time Champion at the National Show, and 8-time Color Champion - Rayo del Sol. Wait, it gets better! Rose Marie is bred to the great Mr Roosevelt, sire of 2-time A.O.B.A. National Show Champion and 14-time Champion, ATV Adonnis, to name one of many. How sweet it is!

       Two cria for Tickle thus far, both females and both outstanding. Now we have loaded up all of her outstanding grey genetics and paired them with Mr Roosevelt. A Silver Charm daughter bred to Mr Roosevelt... That's Dreamy!

       Beautiful Female, Beautiful Fleece, Outstanding Pedigree, Awesome Breeding!

       Cocoa Madness has been with us since she entered the country. A proud and majestic female, she has been a fantastic producer. Her beautiful mahogany fleece has produced for us everything from white to black - both with excellence. This year she is bred to the incredible Lunar Breeze. Cocoa Madness brings many great things to this breeding and Lunar Breeze adds the icing, including a shot at some very significant color, along with his abundant and Championship quality fleece.        Pippie is a great blend of genetics. Full Peruvian and laden with color, she is a daughter of the great Desert Sun (co-owned by Diamond Rose Ranch and Heatherbrook Farms, LLC) and the grand-daughter of record setting Misty Maiden. Her quality is indicative of her heritage. We have matched all of that greatness with her breeding to Accoyo Elite. Hop on board the gravy train. This one could mean greatness for your breeding program.

       Sierra is full Peruvian, loaded with color, and bred to the AWE Black Male Champion, Peruvian Francisco. He is also the maternal sister to Mega Champion, Black Diamonds. Black Diamonds and Francisco are offspring of Aladdin of KPR, and Black Diamonds and Sierra are offspring of Selasia. Might the stars line up to create another Black Diamonds?

       Full Peruvian and black, fairly rare indeed! So that is enticing for sure. Let's make it better, she is bred to Connagher, who is producing very colorful cria when bred to color, and some of the most amazingly bright fleeces. If you breed colorful Peruvians, you might really want to consider a look at this one.

       Okay, so you take a little Royal Fawn, a drop of Mr. Know It All, a couple teaspoons of Incan Magic, a sprinkle of Danko, and a couple cups of Rayo del Sol and Kirwin, top it off with some Legacy, and ice it with some Kryptonite and you have a good look at the genotype that will make up Kailee's cria. A knockout female, with a great fleece, stand out style, and a phenomenal breeding. This is sweet!

       Excellent density, paired with uniformed fleece character and very good fineness make Venus a pretty good black female. Now she is bred to Copenhagen, who "WOW'd" the judges for three years in the show ring. We have our first Copenhagen babies this year and the "WOW" continues.

       Fantansie is a lovely, coal black, Shazam daughter from one of our grand 'ol silver grey females, So Fancy. Fantasie's fleece looks remarkably similar to her sire's fleece, which pairs a fairly high frequency style of fleece with excellent brightness. If you watch our website, you know that we do not offer many females bred to 2-time Champion at the National Show, and 8-time Color Champion - Rayo del Sol. Here is your shot at one tantalizing female with a dreamy breeding.

       Nebula is a pleasingly plump black girl! There is nothing right about the way that sounded and I apologize to anyone offended. No harm was intended however, it is just alpaca talk! But it is accurate. Nebula is true black and comes from a very black heritage. She is also slightly overweight, which has caused her topline to sway a bit, however it has never had a negative effect on her cria. As a matter of fact we have never seen this in any of her cria and she has had about 4 of them now.

       Jamaica is a big strapping female, who stamps out really handsome cria. Her 2005 daughter is a female now producing in our herd. Her 2006 son, looks (at this writing) to be destined for our 2008 showstring. Her 2007 cria (just born) is gorgeous and we have great hopes for her. We have decided to breed her to Valentino for her 2008 cria. Needless to say, we believe this cria will be a real gem.

       Juicy Lucy is a daughter of the great Desert Sun and a granddaughter of the remarkable Misty Maiden. Juicy Lucy's first cria (with Rayo del Sol) is an AOBA National Show Blue Ribbon Winner and a Level 4 Show Reserve Champion as a cria. Her cria this year is a striking fawn male, by Mr Roosevelt. One look at either of these youngsters and you'll see why Lucy is already a great producer. This year she is bred to Copenhagen for her 2008 cria. Yikes, this cria should be outstanding.

       Rosie O does it again this year! A beautiful gray female for us. We purchased Rosie, four years ago, she has given us three cria, all girls, all silver gray, all outstanding. This time we are pursuing rose gray as we have bred her to our award winning youngster, Chocolate Thunder. This is an exciting breeding and one that we will really look forward to next year whether she is sold or not. Here is your shot at a consistent producer of gray females who is very well bred again this year.
